A close friend of mine lost his daughter Ruby to meningitis a few years back, since then he has raised thousands of pounds in support of a charity working to find a cure for this terrible disease. This is my way of supporting him and the charity whilst challenging myself to the extreme! 

I will be swimming 2.4 miles, cycling 112 miles then running a marathon - surely worth a couple of quid!
