This site is dedicated to the memory of Ruby Burrell.
In memory of our beautiful daughter Ruby Alice, who was taken from us so suddenly on the 17th January 2010. Ruby died from meningococcal septicaemia, she was 21 months old. Ruby was such a happy child, full of cheeky smiles and giggles, she truly touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. From being completely well in the morning, swimming and playing, Ruby became a little unwell during the afternoon so sat quietly with her big sister Millie watching her favourite Peppa Pig DVD. We spotted a small bruise on her arm later that night, and whilst on the phone to the hospital a rash appeared on her abdomen. Despite taking her straight to hospital, Ruby died from this terrible disease in a matter of hours.
